Women's Tennis Dominates Polytechnic In 9-0 Win

Brooklyn, NY---The BC Women's Tennis Team (9-5) defeated Polytechnic University on Saturday, October 18th, 9-0 in a non-conference match. Brooklyn did not allow Polytechnic to win a game in doubles, while aslo winning each of their singles matches in straight sets.
Ruth Perez (EBC Bushwick/Brooklyn, NY) won her #1 singles match 6-0, 6-0, while teaming with Olexandra Osviy (American, Ukraine/Brooklyn, NY) to win at #1 doubles, 8-0. Ovsiy won her #2 singles match 6-0, 6-0 as well as the duo led Brooklyn to the shutout victory.
Brooklyn will be off until Tuesday, October 21st, when they will host Medgar Evers College in the quarterfinals of the CUNYAC Tournament.
