The Men's Soccer team (4-10-2, 2-5-2 CUNYAC) will enter the conference tournament as the number eight seed and square off against top seeded York College (7-2, 8-7) on Wednesday October 28 in Queens.
“It's always and honor to return to my alma mater, which holds so many memories for me,” said BC Head Coach
Rawle Hensford, who graduated from York. “It is always bittersweet, win or lose.”
Earlier this season, the Bridges were defeated on the road against the Cardinals 4-0. However, since that game BC has added midfielder
Adley Raymond (Erasmus Hall Campus / Brooklyn, NY), a CUNYAC Rookie of the Week winner. In just seven games, Raymond is second on the team in points and has tallied seven goals.
Brooklyn College will also look to
Mack Diller (Brooklyn Technical / Brooklyn, NY), who leads the team with three goals and three assists this season.
“This time around it will be a much closer contest,” stated Hensford, “and the team that wants the victory the most will prevail.”
