Mundo Named To CUNYAC All-Star Team

Flushing, NY---Brooklyn College Sophomore Cross Country runner Joanne Mundo was honored by the CUNYAC for the second consecutive year as she was named to the 2009 All-Conference Team.
In 2008, Mundo was named CUNYAC Rookie of the Year, as she was a top finisher throughout the year and helped lead her team to a conference championship.
In 2009, Mundo was excellent, medalling in every meet that she ran in throughout the entire season, and finishing 4th at the CUNYAC Championship meet. Mundo's 3rd place finish at the Brooklyn College Invitational propelled her team to a 1st place finish in the team scoring.
Mundo, a sophomore, will look to continue to perform at the high standard she has set for herself next season.
