Flushing, NY---The City University of New York Athletic Conference announced their weekly award winners on Monday and BC Women's Basketball forward Frances Lyons (James Madison / Brooklyn, NY) was named Player of the Week.

Lyons averaged 16.3 points and 11.6 rebounds per game, helping her team to a 3-0 week with wins over York, Staten Island and Vassar.  During the 6 point win against Vassar, Lyons was at her best, scoring 23 points and pulling down 11 boards in 28 minutes.

Lyons and her teammates will look to continue their 3 game winning streak on Tuesday evening as they travel to take on borough rival St. Joseph's College at 7:30 pm.
