Brooklyn, NY --- The Brooklyn College Men's Volleyball Team (6-16, 4-10 CUNYAC) saw their season come to a close with a 3-1 loss at the New York City College of Technology (16-8, 10-4 CUNYAC) in the Quarterfinal Round of the 2009 CUNYAC Men's Volleyball Tournament.  The Yellow Jackets won by scores of 30-22, 28-30, 30-23, and 30-24.

The Brooklyn attack was paced by senior Tommy Ma (New Utrecht / Brooklyn, NY).  Ma recorded a match-high 22 kills and 15 digs. Classmate David Mayerson (Lawrence / North Woodmere, NY) added a team-best 36 assists to go along with his eight kills and 13 digs.  He also posted a match-high of three service aces.  J.B. Liu (St. Teresa / Brooklyn, NY) also added eight kills, nine digs, and had Brooklyn's only block of the night.

Johnny Santana led the Yellow Jackets with 19 kills, while Kevin Edwards posted a hitting percentage of .423 (12 kills in 26 attempts with only one error) and a match-high of 45 assists.
