Mundo & Uhlitskykh Medal At Queensborough Invitational

Bronx, NY---The Brooklyn College Women's Cross Country Team finished 4th out of 8 teams at the Queensborough Invitational on Sunday, September 20th at Van Cortlandt Park in the 6K Invitational.

Pratt took first place at the meet with a score of 58.  Also finished ahead of the Bridges were Baruch and Hunter, who scored 68 and 76 respectively.

Sophomores Joanne Mundo (Fort Hamilton / Brooklyn, NY) and Khrystyna Uhlitskykh (Laguardia / Brooklyn, NY) each medalled for BC, finishing 7th and 16th overall.  Mundo finished with a time of 29:23, while Uhlitskykh ran the course in 31:24.  

Julie Davolos (Philadelphia CC / New York, NY) ran a time of 32:36, finishing in 25th place, while Elizabeth Messina (Laguardia / Brooklyn, NY) finished 33rd with a time of 33:18.

Leah Wimpfheimer (Brien McMahon / Norwalk, CT) closed out the scoring for BC, finishing 34th, ending the race with a time of 33:37.

The team will head back to Van Cortladnt next Sunday as they compete in the York College Invitational at 10:00 am.
