Brooklyn, NY --- The Brooklyn College Men's Tennis team defeated borough and conference rival New York City College of Technology, 7-2, this afternoon. With the win the Bulldogs even their overall record to 3-3 (1-3 CUNYAC), while the Yellow Jackets fall to 0-6 (0-4 CUNYAC).

The Bulldogs took control of the match early taking first and second doubles, as the freshmen duo of Anthony Chan (Flushing, NY/Archbishop Molloy) and Anthony Sideris (Astoria, NY/St. Demetrios) defeated Jay Chan and Daniel Enadeghe 8-3 in number 1 doubles. Senior Jeffrey Deng (Oakland Gardens, NY/New Utrecht) and junior Vesna Tan (Brooklyn, NY/New Utrecht) shut down Ian Mitchell and Swie Seng Ling, 8-0 in number two doubles.

Brooklyn continued to roll in singles action as Chan, V. Tan, Deng, Sideris and junior Qing Hui Tan (Brooklyn, NY/FDR) brought home victories in number 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 singles, respectively.

BC returns to action this Monday, April 5th, as the Bulldogs will play host to Farmingdale State University. Match is slated for a 4:00 pm start.
