Flushing, NY --- Brooklyn College junior third baseman Danielle Maresca (Brooklyn, NY / James Madison) has been named the CUNY Athletic Conference / Hospital for Special Surgery Scholar-Athlete of the Month, for the Month of April, 2010. Maresca, an Early Childhood Education major, currently holds a 3.6 cumulative grade point average.

Maresca, a 2010 CUNYAC First Team All-Star, played a pivotal role for the Bulldogs (16-17-1, 7-7 CUNYAC) in their success this season, which culminated with a berth in the ECAC Division III Metro Softball Championship.
