Brooklyn, NY --- The semifinals round of the 2012 City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC)/Hospital For Special Surgery Women's Tennis Championships scheduled for today at the USTA National Tennis Center in Flushing, NY has been postponed due to the inclement weather that has hit the tri-state area.

The semifinals will now be played on Sunday, October 21st at 1:00 pm, while the final will now be played on Wednesday, October 24th at 5:00 pm. Both the semifinals and final will be played at the National Tennis Center.

The #2 seeded Brooklyn College Women's Tennis team defeated the #7 seeded Bloodhounds of John Jay College of Criminal Justice in the quarterfinals round, 5-0, on Wednesday, October 17th to advance to the semifinals.

BC will take on the #3 seed Dolphins of the College of Staten Island in the semifinals. CSI defeated the #6 seed Lightning of Lehman College in their quarterfinals match to punch their ticket to the semifinals.

#1 Hunter College, the reigning CUNYAC Champions, will take on #4 Baruch College in the other semifinals matchup.
