conference awards.  BC senior forward, Niko Metreveli, was named the conference's Player of the Year, freshman forward, Andrew Gavrilov, earned Rookie of the Year accolades, while first-year BC Head Coach, Nathan Bell, was voted Coach of the Year by his peers.  In addition, junior midfielder, Adam Moharam, and sophomore back, Navruz Asatallaev, were Second Team All-Conference selections.  Asatallaev was also named to the conference's Sportsmanship Team.  All five honorees helped Brooklyn to a 10-6-1 (5-1-1 CUNYAC) record and their first Regular Season CUNYAC title since Coming into the CUNYAC Semifinal matchup, the Brooklyn College men's soccer team would host the semifinal match after earning a bye as the number one seed in the conference. In their way was the only team to have defeated them during the regular season: the Lehman College Lightning, who came in as the number four seed. The game would be very intense, going all the way to overtime. Unfortunately, the result would repeat as the Bulldogs would drop the match on a golden goal to end the game 1-0 just a minute into overtime.

The Brooklyn College Bulldogs (10-6-1, 5-1-1 CUNYAC) will go on to lose their first game at home all season, after going unbeaten during the regular season with seven wins.
