/><br /><br />Brooklyn, NY----Announced by the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) on Tuesday, a trio of Bulldogs would earn softball postseason honors including a pair of major awards freshman third base, Addy Cook (Rookie of the Year), and sophomore outfielder, Jenna Hood (Sportsmanship Award).  Freshman outfielder, Haylee Burleigh, was also named All-Conference.  The trio helped Brooklyn to a 6-4 CUNYAC record during the regular season and ended the season in historic fashion as the Bulldogs advanced to the CUNYAC Championship round for the first time in the program's #2 John Jay, 9-1 (5 innings).  Brooklyn advanced to the championship round after defeating #4 Hunter, 7-4, in the first game of the day.  The #3 seeded Bulldogs end the season with a 17-25 overall to  No. 2 John Jay, 10-1 (6 innings) to start their day before defeating top-seed, Baruch, 9-1 (5 innings) in the elimination game in order to advance to the second and final day of the tournament.  BC moves to 16-24 overall following Thursday's split.  Next Up:  Brooklyn will take on No. 4 seed Hunter who defeated Baruch in the first game of the day and lost to John Jay in the final game of the
