College: Second-year member of the Basketball team... In 2011-2012, missed entire season due to an injury.
Prior To BC: Spent time at NAIA Division II member Ottawa University in Kansas (2009-2010) and NCAA Division II member Western Oregon University (2010-2011)... While at Ottawa, played in 16 games, averaging 6.3 minutes per game, to go along with 1.7 points per game.
High School: Attended John F. Kennedy in Denver, Colorado...Three-sport athlete participating in basketball, softball and track... As a senior was ranked 7th in the state in scoring (21.5 ppg)...Named to CHSAA and CCGS All-State Teams in 2009...Scored a career-high 37 points vs. Ralston Valley...Led her team to the second round of State Playoffs for first time in school history...Played for Colorado Heat AAU Team.
Personal: Psychology Major...Parents are James and Diana Leichtle... Born in 1990... Sister played high school softball while brother played baseball and football...Started playing basketball at the age of seven.
