Oleg Tykhonravov Named Brooklyn College Male Student- Athlete of the Month – October
Sophomore forward Oleg Tykhonravov had a strong second month of his second season, to help lead the BC Men’s Soccer team to a 5-1-1 record in October, as the Bulldogs would make their second straight appearance in the semifinals round of the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) Championships.
Tykhonravov appeared in six of the seven games in the month, while starting in one. The native of the Ukraine began the month scoring points in three straight games, as he tallied two assists in a win against Medgar Evers College on October 9th, while scoring a goal against both John Jay College (October 12th) and Maritime College (October 16th).
In Brooklyn’s CUNYAC quarterfinal round game against York College on October 30th, Tykhonravov assisted on the eventual game-winning goal setting up freshman Kenny Benitez.
For his efforts during the month of October, Oleg Tykhonravov has been tabbed as the Brooklyn College Male Student-Athlete of the Month.
