Academic Success: Athletics strives to support its student-athletes to ensure successful completion of academic degree.
Personal/Professional Development: Athletics strives to prepare student athletes for life after sport with a focus on developing leadership, teamwork, sportsmanship and career readiness.
Athletic Competitiveness: Athletics strives to produce teams that win more than 50 percent of their contests annually and compete in their respective conference postseason tournaments. Additionally, Brooklyn College aspires to place in the top four in the annual CUNYAC Commissioner's Cup standings.
Student Athlete Experience: Student Athletes will receive supportive and knowledgeable coaches in their sport. Athletics is committed to providing first-rate facilities, safe and comfortable travel to away contests and will provide appropriate services in the areas of sports medicine and strength and conditioning training.
Community Service: All intercollegiate athletic teams and SAAC will complete annual community service projects.
