Rental Application Process
Step 1: Identify a facility. List of facilities is below.
Step 2: Submit an application online at brooklyncollegeathletics.com . Application must be received at least one month prior to event.

Recreation and Athletic Facilities
A variety of recreational and athletic facilities can be rented at Brooklyn College.

Indoor Facilities:

West Quad Pool - 8 Lanes, 25 yards. 1 and 3 meter diving boards.

West Quad Competition Gymnasium - 1 hardwood basketball court lined for basketball and volleyball.

West Quad Auxiliary Gymnasium - 2 full rubber-surface basketball courts lined for basketball and volleyball. 

Roosevelt Auxiliary Gymnasium - 1 full basketball court, 2 half courts, volleyball, badminton and tennis courts. 


Outdoor Facilities:

Turf Field - 1 multi-purpose turf field. 

Tennis Courts - 6 regulation tennis courts.


All rentals require an hourly fee and may be subject to additional fees for security, maintenance, event personnel and outdoor lighting for outdoor facilities at night. Brooklyn College determines the staffing required for each rental.

Approximate Additional Staff Charges (per hour):
Security - $42.00 per officer - if deemed necessary by the college. 
Maintenance - $40.00 per person - if deemed necessary by the college. 
Pool Specific (Lifeguard) - Any rental that is scheduled when BC Recreation is not open, a lifeguard cost per hour will be added.  


LOCKERS ARE NOT AVAILABLE.

Contracts for extended use are available at reduced rates depending on the number of sessions and availability.

Scheduling
Scheduling of athletics facilities is based on the following protocol: faculty-led classes take top priority followed by intercollegiate and intramural sports, Brooklyn College recreational usage, rentals. Accordingly, every semester we schedule classes, team practices, games, and recreation, then rentals can be scheduled based on remaining availability. Availability and scheduling will change each semester. All rentals are also based on staff availability.

Insurance
Appropriate commercial general liability insurance is required for all rentals in at least the following amounts:
Combined Single Limit: $1,000.000.00 Aggregate: $2,000.000.00. All policies shall insure Brooklyn College and/or name it and The City University of New York, the State of New York, and the City of New York as additional insureds thereunder.
