The freshman midfielder was as good as anyone in the CUNYAC offensively during the month of October.  Ziyaev was unconscious during a two-week span where he finished with three hat-tricks against conference opponents.  He would score 13 of his 17 goals for the season during October.  For his efforts, he would be named CUNYAC Player of the Week three times during the month.
