Justine O’Callahan Named Brooklyn College Female Student-Athlete of the Month – November
Brooklyn College senior forward Justine O’Callahan has been one of the main catalysts in helping the BC Women’s Basketball team get off to its perfect 5-0 record during the opening month of the season, including a 1-0 mark in the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC).
O’Callahan’s best performance of the month came in the Bulldogs’ 69-46 victory over regional rival Farmingdale State College on November 16th. In the game, O’Callahan registered a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds.
O’Callahan also had a solid performance on the road against the College of New Rochelle the next night on November 17th, helping lead Brooklyn to the win with 19 points on 9-for-16 (56.3) shooting, to go with eight rebounds.
For the month, O’Callahan averaged 10.2 points and a team leading 8.8 rebounds per game over the Bulldogs five games.
For her efforts, O’Callahan has been named the BC Female Student-Athlete of the Month, for the month of November.
