New York, NY—The Brooklyn College Women's Volleyball squad (6-16, 2-7 CUNYAC) could not hold off the John Jay Bloodhounds (10-17, 4-5 CUNYAC) as they dropped a 22-30, 30-11, 30-17, 30-21 decision.
Kerry-Ann Burton (Harry S. Truman/Bronx, NY) and Leidy Guzman (Humanities/Brooklyn, NY) led the way for the Bridges as they each posted six kills and two service aces on the night. Guzman led the team in digs with 21 while Burton was chipped in with 10 digs.

Leading the way for the Bloodhounds was senior outside hitter Sara Altamirano (John F. Kennedy/Bronx, NY) who had 24 kills, six aces and 12 digs. Another big game performance came from Erica Lee (Seward Park/ New York, NY) who had 37 assists on the night.

Up next for the Bridges is a CUNYAC Tournament first round road match versus the #1 seed, Hunter College, next Tuesday, October 30th at 6 pm.
