Hunter Box Score

Jamaica, NY---The Brooklyn College Women's Volleyball Team (3-10, 1-6 CUNYAC) played tough against a strong Baruch (11-16, 5-2 CUNYAC) squad and first place Hunter (14-5, 7-0 CUNYAC), but could not get a win on Columbus Day as they fell in three to both.

Baruch topped the Bridges 30-19, 30-18, 30-23 in the team's first match of the day at the CUNYAC Multi-Match hosted by York College.

In the Hunter match, BC fell in the first two games 30-11, 30-12, but then went on to take a 16-10 lead in the third game before Hunter went on a run to win 30-26.

Kerry-Ann Burton (Harry S. Truman/Bronx, NY) combined for 14 kills and 8 digs over the two matches while Leidy Guzman (Humanities/Brooklyn, NY) totaled 11 kills and 21 digs on the day.

Brooklyn will be off until Saturday when they will head up to Sarah Lawrence for a tri-match with St. Joseph's Brooklyn and the host, Sarah Lawrence.
