New York, NY---The Brooklyn College Women's Volleyball Team got their first win of the season during the CUNYAC Multi-Match at Hunter College on Saturday, as they defeated City Tech in straight games, 30-16, 30-13, 30-12.

Brooklyn dominated Tech (0-3, 0-1 CUNYAC) throughout the match, tallying 25 service aces, including 9 from Jasmine Thimothe (Samuel J. Tilden/Brooklyn, NY).

In the second match of the day, BC couldn't keep their momentum as they dropped a 23-30, 11-30, 28-30 decision to Lehman (1-1, 1-1 CUNYAC).  Leidy Guzman (Humanities/Brooklyn, NY) led the way defensively for BC, notching 14 digs.

Splitting today's matches brings the squad's season record to 1-2, 1-1 CUNYAC.

The Women will travel to uptown Manhattan on Tuesday to take on conference foe, City College of New York, in a 7:00 pm start.
