Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College Women's Volleyball Team got their second win of the season on Thursday night as they defeated SUNY Maritime (0-3) in three games, 30-16, 34-32, 30-26.

Daphne Brunet (WIlli-Graf, Germany/Brooklyn, NY) led the way for BC with 6 kills and 5 service aces.

Kerry-Ann Burton (Harry S. Truman/Bronx, NY) and Leidy Guzman (Humanities/Brooklyn, NY) each chipped in with 4 kills.  Guzman, a second-team confernce all-star in 2006, also had 6 digs and 4 service aces.

Yamelete Rosa (Abraham Lincoln/Brooklyn, NY) had a masterful match in serve, leading the team with 10 aces.

SUNY Maritime was led by Brittany McVey (West Genesee/Camillus, NY), who had 7 kills in the loss.

Brooklyn (2-3) will host conference rival Medgar Evers on Tuesday, September 25th at 7:00 pm.
