Brooklyn, NY---Brooklyn College (2-4, 1-3 CUNYAC) lost a hard fought match to CUNYAC rival Medgar Evers (7-3, 3-1 CUNYAC) on Tuesday Night, 30-25, 24-30, 30-19, 30-7.

After dropping the first game, BC came back to take the second game, 30-24, behind the excellent play of their defense.

In the third game, Brooklyn took an early lead, but Medgar proved to be too much as won by a 30-19 score and then consequently took the 4th game, 30-17.

Kerry-Ann Burton (Harry S. Truman/Bronx, NY) led the way with 8 kills for Brooklyn as Jasmine Thimothe (Samuel J. Tilden/Brooklyn, NY) chipped in with 5 kills and 8 digs.

Medgar Evers was led by Charita Henry (BVI/Brooklyn, NY) who had a game-high 19 kills and reigning CUNYAC Player of the Week, Jasmine Gonzalez (Fashion Industries/Brooklyn, NY) who notched 13 kills and a game-high 14 digs.

Brooklyn will head to Vassar College on Saturday, September 29th where they will take on Wilkes University and Vassar College.
