Poughkeepsie, NY---The Brooklyn College Women's Volleyball Team played some tough non-conference matches on Saturday at Vassar College as they took on the host school as well as Wilkes University, falling in three to both squads.

In the first match of the day, versus the host school Vassar, BC fell by scores of 30-13, 30-8, 30-9.

Kerry-Ann Burton (Harry S. Truman/Brookyn, NY) led the way for the Bridges with 8 kills, 2 digs and 1 service ace.

In the next match versus Wilkes, BC improved their play, but Wilkes proved to be too tough as they prevailed, 30-14, 30-12, 30-17.

Burton had 2 kills and 10 digs in the match, while Daphne Brunet (Willi-Graf/Brooklyn, NY) chipped in with 10 digs.

Brooklyn's defense produced a season-high 39 digs.

The BC Women will return to action at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, October 2nd as they host CUNYAC rival, Staten Island.
