Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College Men's Basketball Team improved to 16-5 on the season as they downed non-conference opponent, St. Joseph's College Brooklyn, 89-75.

The Bridges raced out to a 51-38 lead at the break, and cruised in the second half.  Five players scored better than 11 points for Brooklyn. Richard Jean-Baptiste (St. John's Prep / Queens, NY) led the way with 27 points, eight rebounds, and six assists. Corey McFarlane (Transit Tech / Brooklyn, NY) added 14 points and four assists.  Thomas Guerin (St. Edmund Prep / Brooklyn, NY) chipped in with 13 points on the night, while Reginald Posey (Msgr. Scanlon / Bronx, NY) and Sean Weismuller (James Madison / Brooklyn, NY) each poured in 11 points off the bench.

Larry Fawcett led St. Joeseph's with 21 points.

Brooklyn will travel to CUNYAC South Division rival Staten Island on Saturday for a 5:30 pm tip.
