New York, NY --- The Brooklyn College Women's Volleyball Team (6-10, 2-5 CUNYAC) dropped a pair of conference matches at the CUNYAC Multi-Match held Monday at Hunter College. The Bridges lost a four-set decision to John Jay before falling to Staten Island, also in four sets.

Kerry-Ann Burton (Harry S Truman / Bronx, NY) finished with 10 kills and five digs against John Jay (6-17, 3-4 CUNYAC) while adding four kills, four service aces, and five digs against Staten Island (11-7, 4-3).

Jasmine Thimothe (Samuel J. Tilden / Brooklyn, NY) totalled 11 kils, 20 digs, and five service aces between the two matches.  Freshman setter Ezgi Ozdemir (Abraham Lincoln / Brooklyn, NY) had a career-high 25 assists against the Bloodhounds, and tallied 32 assists for the day.  Yamalete Rosa  (Abraham Lincoln / Brooklyn, NY) contributed 20 digs, including 15 against the Dolphins.

The Bridges travel to Bronxville, NY on Tuesday October 14th, taking on Sarah Lawrence College in a non-conference match.  The first serve is set for 7:00 pm.
