Brooklyn College vs. CCNY Box Score

Jamaica, NY --- The Brooklyn College Men's Volleyball team (1-6, 0-3 CUNYAC) lost both ends of a CUNYAC Multi Match at York College on Saturday afternoon.  In the opening match, The Bridges were defeated by Lehman College (7-3, 3-2 CUNYAC) in three straight:30-25, 30-23, and 31-29.  In the second contest, CCNY (3-7, 2-3 CUNYAC) downed BC 30-19, 30-22, and 30-28.

Against Lehman, Junior outside hitter Kwan Tong Ma (New Utrecht / Brooklyn, NY) recorded match-highs of 12 defensive digs and 19 kills.  Senior setter Ferdi Ozsoy (Park West / Sunnyside, NY) chipped in with 36 assists.  Senior outside hitter Juan Caez (McArthur / Oklahoma, OK) added two blocks.

In the second match, Ma again led all players in kills with 18 ans defensive digs with 14.  He received assistance from senior Steve Siozos (New Dorp / Staten Island, NY), who contributed a season-high 10 kills and recorded one service ace. Ozsoy's 32 assists again led the Bridges. 

Brooklyn returns to Roosevelt Gymnasium on Thursday evening to battle CUNYAC foe Baruch College.  The first serve is slated for 7:00 pm.
