Brooklyn Pushes CCNY To Fifth Game But Fail To Notch 2nd Conference Win

Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College Men's Volleyball Team (2-11, 1-5 CUNYAC) played a tremendous match on Tuesday night as they came back from a two game deficit to tie the match at two games apiece and force a fifth and final game against the conference's third place team, CCNY (7-8, 7-3 CUNYAC).  The Bridges could not fight all the way back for the win as CCNY won a 30-17, 30-20, 28-30, 20-30, 15-10 decision.

Kwan Tong Ma (New Utrecht / Brooklyn) continued his all-star caliber play, notching 26 kills for Brooklyn after setting a single-match record on Saturday as he notched 41 kills against York.  Ma also added a team-high nine defensive digs.

Steve Siozos (New Dorp / Staten Island, NY) chipped in with 12 kills for BC, while Ferdi Ozsoy (Park West / Sunnyside) contributed 47 assists.

Christopher Aviles (Fort Hamilton / Brooklyn, NY) had a team-high 16 kills to lead CCNY.

Brooklyn will return to the court on Thursday as they host Lehman in a conference battle scheduled for 7:00 pm.
