Old Westbury, NY---The Brooklyn College Softball Team opened their season on Tuesday afternoon at SUNY Old Westbury and were unable to escape with a win as they dropped a pair, 8-0, 5-0.

While Brooklyn did not produce much offense, Nataly Yehezkel (James Madison/Brooklyn, NY) got her first college hit.

Game 2 saw Nicole Bianco (FDR/Brooklyn, NY) make her first pitching appearance for Brooklyn College.  Bianco gave up only 5 hits and 3 earned runs but again, BC's offense could not get it going.
