Men's Tennis Finishes CUNYAC Regular Season With 6-3 Win Over Lehman

Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College Men's Tennis Team (10-2, 7-1 CUNYAC) finished their conference schedule on Friday afternoon and for the second consecutive season notched a record of 7-1, as they defeated Lehman, 6-3.

Morris Dweck (Yeshiva of Flatbush/Brooklyn, NY), who has had an excellent season, dominated in both singles and doubles play.  He defeated Ryan Magsino at #2 singles, 6-0, 6-2 and teamed with Eddie Hazan (Magen David Yeshiva/Brooklyn, NY) to defeat Ahmed Altia (Talent Unlimited/New York, NY) and Gabriel Duah (Vanguard/Accra, Ghana), 8-1 at #2 doubles.

Johnny Rolando (Abraham Lincoln/Brooklyn, NY) continued his hot play as well, blanking Altia in their #3 singles match, 6-0, 6-0.

Nam Nguyen (Vietnam/Brooklyn, NY) defeated Lehman's Duah at #4 singles, 6-4, 4-6, 10-8 (tiebreaker), in what was the most competitive match of the day.

Hazan finished a 2-0 day by defeating Shu-Hsan Lim 6-0, 6-1.

Kristoffer Flores (St. Francis Prep/Ozone Park, NY) and Cristobal Serrano (EBC Bushwick/Brooklyn, NY) defeated Rabiedra Hansraj and James Mariani (Salesian/Bronx, NY) at #3 doubles, 9-7.
