New York, NY---The Brooklyn College Women's Basketball Team (12-3, 5-1 CUNYAC) defeated Hunter College on Friday night by a score of 78-74 behind 17 second half points from Christina Belfiore (Staten Island Tech / Staten Island, NY).

Belfiore, who finished with 19 points, only converted on one field goal in the first half, but was key in the second half as she hit three 3-pointers and scored a team-high 17 points in the half

Priscilla Ramirez (Franklin D, Roosevelt / Brooklyn, NY) had another tremendous outing, as she scored 20 points and grabbed a team-high 8 boards on the evening.

Andrea Buckham (Flushing / Queens, NY) led Hunter with 21 points and 16 rebounds in the loss.

The BC Women will remain on the road as they travel to tough non-conference opponent St. Elizabeth on Sunday at 1pm.
