The Women's Volleyball team (4-18) had a rough go of it at the Montclair State University Volleyball Classic this past weekend, dropping four matches, all in straight sets.
The bright spot of the weekend was the selection of team captain
Thea Schlieben (Rudolf Steiner / New York, NY) to the All Tournament Team.

BC got it its own way in the first set, committing ten hitting errors and losing 25-8, before cleaning things up in the second and third. Still, Brooklyn was defeated by Montclair State, who would go on to win all four of their matches in the tournament, in straight sets, 25-8, 25-19, 25-14.
Brooklyn took on Centenary College (12-15) in the second Friday match, but suffered the same fate, getting swept 25-6, 25-13 and 25-9.
Iris Clopton-Robinson (Monticello / Monticello, NY) led the Bridges with five kills and eleven digs in the match.
BC squared off against Manhattanville College (6-18) to open play on Saturday and despite a strong showing in the first set, fell in three, 25-20, 25-13 and 25-10.
Caitlin McMullen (Midwood / Brooklyn, NY) recorded seven kills to lead the Bridges.
Brooklyn played its final match of the invitational against CUNYAC foe John Jay College (8-20), but could not put together the pieces for a victory, falling in straight sets 25-15, 25-16 and 27-25.
