Men's Soccer Gets Big Conference Road Win Over Lehman, 2-1

Bronx, NY---The Brooklyn College Men's Soccer Team (4-6-2, 2-2-2 CUNYAC) went up to the Bronx on Wednesday and got two first half goals to knock off Lehman College (3-11, 3-4 CUNYAC), 2-1.

The win moved Brooklyn up into sixth place in the conference standings as they are now only 1 point behind Lehman and Hunter who are tied for fourth place and 2 points behind Medgar Evers who is currently in third place.

BC got on the board early in the contest as Muhammad Mutawakkil (Ulul-Alab / Nigeria) scored an unassisted goal 18 minutes into the game to give his team a 1-0 advantage.

Right before the half, reigning CUNYAC Rookie of the Week, Adley Raymond (Erasmus Hall / Brooklyn, NY), scored his third goal in three games on an assist from Cosimo Vilardo (John Dewey / Brooklyn, NY).

Goalkeeper Azad Kafarov (James Madison / Brooklyn, NY) allowed only one goal while making five saves in the win.

Brooklyn's game against Medgar Evers, scheduled for Friday, will be rescheduled for next week.  The next scheduled game will take place next Saturday, October 17th against CCNY in what will be a critical game in the league standings.
