Annandale-on-Hudson, NY---The Brooklyn College Women's Basketball Team (6-3) traveled three hours north of Brooklyn to take on non-conference opponent Bard College (2-6) on Saturday evening, emerging victorious for the 5th straight game, 82-55.

Brooklyn shot an outstanding 53% in the first half, opening up a 43-25 lead going into the break and never looked back.  

Frances Lyons (James Madison / Brooklyn, NY) led all scorers with 28, while also grabbing 10 boards, blocking 4 shots and nabbing 4 steals.

Junior guard Ariel Smith (Wallkill / Newburgh, NY) scored 22 points and dished out 4 assists.

Senior Priscilla Ramirez (FDR / Brooklyn, NY) had game-highs of 12 rebounds and 7 assists, while center Justine O'Callahan (Floral Park / Floral Park, NY) chipped in with 12 points and 8 boards of her own.

Bard was led by Latiqua Williams (Bay Shore / Bay Shore, NY) who had 19 points.

The women will be off for final exams and not resume play until January 2nd when the will take on St. Joseph's College (Long Island) in NYU's New Year Tournament .
