New Haven, CT---The Brooklyn College Women's Basketball Team (18-7) traveled north to Connecticut to take on GNAC opponent Albertus Magnus (7-16) on Wednesday. After leading early, but then falling behind late, the Women were able to escape with the narrow 71-68 victory.
Priscilla Ramirez (FDR / Brooklyn, NY) and
Amber Gordon (Bishop Loughlin / Brooklyn, NY) put up matching team-highs with 18 points and 9 rebounds a piece. Ramirez added team-highs with 6 assists and 5 steals.

Justine O'Callahan (Floral Park / Floral Park, NY) chipped in with 14 points as well.

Asheley Blaise (Midwood / Brooklyn, NY) went 3 for 3 from the field in limited play off the BC bench.
For Brooklyn it was the team's 18th of the season, which is the most for any BC women's team since the 1996-1997 team. Tonight's win was the 66th career victory for head coach
Alex Lang who became the program's all-time winningest coach.
The team will get ready for the CUNYAC Tournament, which will begin on Saturday as Brooklyn, the #4 seed, will host York, the #5 seed, at 1:00 pm.
