Soccer Falls To FDU-Florham 6-1

Florham, NJ---The Brooklyn College Men's Soccer Team (2-3) took to the road on Thursday, falling to non-conference opponent FDU-Florham (5-2), by a final score of 6-1

Freshman Mickael Dejean (Saint-Louis Be Gonzague / Port-Au-Prince, Haiti) scored Brooklyn's lone goal with 8 minutes to go in the first half, cutting the FDU lead to 2-1.  Ducasse Lois-Edouard (Saint-Louis Be Gonzague / Port-Au-Prince, Haiti) was credited for the assist, on the final scoring before the half.

FDU was able to score four times in the second half to run away with the non-league win.

Coach Rawle Hensford remained positive in defeat, stating, "Despite the lost, we take a lot of positives form this game. We see some areas we need improve on and we can build on the things that worked on this strong team."

Brooklyn will remain on the road for their next game as they travel to Hackettstown, New Jersey to take on the Cyclones of Centenary College, Monday September 23rd at 4:00 pm.
