Men's Soccer Falls To NJCU 5-0 In Season Finale

Jersey City, NJ---The Brooklyn College Men's Soccer Team (2-12-2) lost their season finale on Wednesday afternoon, a non-conference road game against New Jersey City University (7-9), 5-0.

NJCU got goals from four players, including four first-half goals, to earn the shutout victory.  Kevin Scrivanich (Mount Olive / Flanders, NJ) got the first goal of the game just five minutes into the contest.  Nana Kofi Kusi (Kumasi, Ghana / Jersey City, NJ) scored another one minute later to increase the lead to 2-0.

BC sophomore goalkeeper Anthony Sideris (St. Demetrios / Astoria, NY) got his first start of the season in goal and made 8 saves in the loss.

Brooklyn will look forward to the 2011 season.  Team captain Mario Guerrero (Fort Hamilton / Brooklyn, NY) will lead the crop of fifteen underclassmen who will return for the Bulldogs.
