Jamaica, NY---The Brooklyn College Women's Basketball Team (14-9, 8-4 CUNYAC) had their five-game win streak snapped on Friday evening as they lost to York College (12-11, 7-5 CUNYAC), 61-57.

Brooklyn held a 25-21 halftime lead, however foul trouble and some costly turnovers led to their second half demise.

York was led by Kadisha Wickham (HJ Robinson / Brooklyn, NY), who scored 17 points and pulled down 9 rebounds.

Brooklyn was paced by Frances Lyons (James Madison / Brooklyn, NY), who dropped in 23 points while grabbing 13 boards.

BC will return home on Sunday as they take on Staten Island in another CUNYAC South Division battle.
