New York, NY---In their only match of the day at the CUNYAC Multimatch hosted by Baruch College on Saturday, Brooklyn topped Medgar Evers 25-12, 25-14, 25-11. The win boosts the Bulldogs to 1-1 and 1-0 in conference play while the Cougars fall to 0-4 and 0-2 in the CUNYAC after falling to York in their morning match.

Caitlin McMullen, the team was determined to play and win today's match."
McMullen served a match-high five aces to accompany her four kills, while sophomore outside hitter Jillian Escobar led the way for BC with five kills, while adding four aces and five digs.

Kathy Chu picked up a match-high 15 assists, while hitters
Electra Telesford and
Maritza Morency each chipped in with three kills.
"Every member of our team contributed to our success today," Riggs reflected as her team will head into their second week of play undefeated in conference action.
The team will not wait long for their next challenge as they will travel to John Jay on Tuesday to take on the Bloodhounds before their home opener on Thursday agains St. Joseph's.
