Box Score Maspeth, NY --- The Brooklyn College Women's Soccer team dropped its final City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) game of the 2012 season, as the Bulldogs suffered a 2-0 loss to the Bloodhounds of John Jay College of Criminal Justice at Metropolitan Oval in Maspeth, NY this afternoon.
With the loss, BC falls to 5-6-1 overall on the season and completes the season with a 2-4 mark in the CUNYAC; while the Bloodhounds improve to 5-12 overall on the year and finish the season with an even 3-3 record in conference play.
John Jay's Tatiana Ambarsom notched two first-half goals to help propel the Bloodhounds to their 2-0 victory.
Ambarsom's first goal came in the 15th minute with Samantha Guillen assisting on the goal. Ambarsom would strike again in the 32nd minute with Bergelie Louis assisting on the goal.
For the game, John Jay outshot Brooklyn 16-7 and also held the corner kick advantage 4-2.
BC's
Melissa St. Louis played all 90 minutes in goal for the Bulldogs, recording three saves, while surrendering two goals. John Jay's Andrea Antoni also played all 90 minutes, registering four saves en route to the earning the shutout win.
Brooklyn will be back on the pitch on Monday, October 22nd, as the Bulldogs will head to Staten Island, NY to take on the College of Staten Island in a non-conference game. The match is scheduled for 4:00 pm start time.
