Results
Jamaica, NY --- The Brooklyn College Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving teams were both victorious tonight against City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) rival York College. The BC Men defeated York 97-50, while the BC Women downed York 79-62.
The Brooklyn Men improve to 1-2 overall on the year and 1-1 in the CUNYAC; while the Brooklyn Women move to 3-2 overall on the year and 1-2 in the conference.
On the Men's side, senior
James Marty led the way with a pair of first place finishes, winning the 200-Meter Freestyle (2:46.32) and the 100-Meter Freestyle (1:07.14).
Junior
Wilson Lee (800-Meter Freestyle) and freshmen
Fong Zeng (50-Meter Freestyle),
Kevin Barros (200-Meter IM) and
Christopher Piechocki (100-Meter Butterfly) also took home first place finishes in their individual events.

Terry Tsui took home first place in the 200-Meter Medley Relay with a time of 2:46.18.
On the Women's side, the Bulldogs were led by juniors
Megan Pendergast and
Patricia Velloza. Pendergast took home a first place finish in both the 800-Meter Freestyle (11:58.76) and the 50-Meter Freestyle (31.29), while Velloza took top honors in both the 200-Meter Freestyle (2:59.22) and the 100-Meter Freestyle (1:20.08).
Juniors
Valentina Monroy (200-Meter IM) and
Stephanie Caravello (1:48.50) also brought home first place finishes.

Danielle Mollo-Siano took first place in the 200-Meter Medley Relay.
Brooklyn will be back in action this Wednesday, December 5th, as the Bulldogs will welcome CUNYAC rival the College of Staten Island to the West Quad Center Pool. The meet is scheduled for a 6:00 pm start time.
