ResultsFarmingdale, NY --- The Brooklyn College Women's Tennis team dropped a non-conference match on Thursday afternoon on the road against the Rams of Farmingdale State College by a score of 7-2.
With the loss, BC drops to 10-2 overall on the year, while Farmingdale improves to 8-2 overall on the season.
The Rams took an early 3-0 advantage as the home team swept all three doubles match-ups.
Farmingdale would take their momentum from doubles play into singles, as the Rams would earn wins in four out of the six flights, en route to their 7-2 victory.

Ekaterina Mospanova (6-0, 7-6) and freshman
Julia Krechmar (5-7, 7-5, 1-0) took home the two wins for BC on the day at #1 and #5 singles, respectively.
Brooklyn will now set its eyes on the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) Women's Tennis Championships, as the #2 seeded Bulldogs will take on the #7 seeded Bloodhounds of John Jay College of Criminal Justice in the quarterfinals round this Sunday, October 20
th. The match is slated for an 11:00 am start at the Roosevelt Courts.
