With the win, Brooklyn improves to 12-2 overall on the season and advances to the championship final this Saturday, October 26th for the second time in three years. Baruch finishes out its fall season with an 8-6 record.

The tandem of Allie Jackson-Hing and Amandine Le Goupil-Maier took the top flight, 8-2; while the pairing of Jessica Duleba and Elizavetta Glotova took the third flight, 8-5, for Baruch.

Brooklyn's lone win in doubles came at #2, as the duo of freshman Diana Beshta and sophomore Sarah Bildirici took home an 8-2 win.

Changing over to singles play and down 2-1, the Bulldogs rallied to take four victories, propelling Brooklyn to the 5-2 win.

Sophomore Suraya Maenhout began the comeback by earning an easy 6-0, 6-0 win at #3 singles to tie the match at 2-2, while junior Yuliya Orkis put BC up 3-2, by taking a 6-3, 6-1 win at #1 singles.

Senior Maria Sanz earned the fourth win of the match for the Bulldogs, pulling out a 7-5, 6-0 win at #4 singles to put Brooklyn on the brink of its second championship final appearance in three years.

Junior Ekaterina Mospanova completed the comeback victory with a 6-2, 6-2 win at #2 singles. #5 and #6 singles would go unfinished as in the postseaon matches end once a team records its fifth win.

The Bulldogs will take on top seed College of Staten Island on Saturday for the conference crown and the automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Championships. CSI defeated #4 Hunter College, the reigning 13-time CUNYAC champion, 5-0. The match is scheduled for a 4:00 pm start at the National Tennis Center. Live stats for the match will be available.
