Box Score 2 Wayne, NJ---The Brooklyn College Women's Volleyball squad participated in William Paterson University's trimatch on Saturday, taking on both Manhattanville College and the hosts, WPU. While the Bulldogs fought hard, their effort in both matches came up short, as they picked up a couple of non-conference losses, falling to 1-7 in 2014, while Manhattanville improved to 4-2 and Paterson stayed unbeated with a 3-0 mark.
In the team's first match against the Valiants of Manhattanville, Francesca LoCasio led the Bulldogs with five kills, while
Jessica Yin topped Brooklyn with 16 assists. Â Against the host Pioneers, LoCasio again led the squad, this time upping her kill total to nine, while Yin matched her assist output to lead BC once again. The duo also combined for 17 digs against Paterson.

Joanne Riggs will look to get a good week of practice in before heading to Lehman for the CUNYAC Multimatch next Saturday, September 13th, where they will take on the College of Staten Island and Medgar Evers in some meaningful early-season conference matches.Â
