Box Score Newark, NJ --- The Brooklyn College Women's Soccer team lost its second and final match of the Rutgers-Newark Scarlet Raider Classic on Sunday afternoon against the Bobcats of Frostburg State University, by a score of 6-0.
The Bobcats got on the board early, scoring a pair of goals within the first six minutes of the contest. Stephanie Fazenbaker notched the first goal of the day in the 2nd minute, while Jaci Buteau scored in the sixth minute. Frostburg State would add a third score in the 32nd minute from Katie Broadhurst to eventually go into the halftime break up 3-0.
The second half would be identical to the first for FSU, as the Bobcats added another three scores in the second stanza, with Fazenbaker involved in all three second half goals. Fazenbacker tallied her second and third goals of the game in the 47th and 72nd minutes, respectively, to register the hat trick. She would also assist the fifth goal of the game in the 53rd minute as Kourtney McLain tallied her first goal on the season.
Freshman
Rebecca Harmata played all 90 minutes in goal, recording 13 saves, while her counterpart, Katie Smith played the first 59:29 minutes of the match for Frostburg State, with Paige Gray finishing the final 30:31 and making a pair of saves to preserve the shutout.
For the game, the Bobcats outshot the Bulldogs 31-3 and also held an 8-0 advantage in corner kicks.

Brooklyn returns to the pitch on Friday, September 12th, as the Bulldogs will welcome the Gothic Knights of New Jersey City University for BC's 2014 home opener. The match is scheduled for a 5:30 pm start time at Brooklyn College Field.
