Men's Soccer Falls To Rowan, 5-0

Box Score Brooklyn, NY --- The Men's soccer team lost a non-conference game to Rowan University on Monday, 5-0.  Brooklyn College currently stands at 7-6-2, while Rowan improves to 12-4 overall.

The Bulldogs started out with great defensive intensity, as after a goal by Jake Conners at the 4:44 mark in the first half, the Owls of Rowan were held scoreless for the rest of the first half.

In the second half Brooklyn came undone with an early goal by Kevin Pereira to start things off at the 51:42 mark. Blake Czajkowski followed that opening strike with a strike of his own four minutes later. Rowan would seal the victory with goals at the 71st and 75th minute mark. Aside from the score line, this was a great test for the Bulldogs leading up to CUNYAC Tournament time.

The Bulldogs have a quick turn-around to face York College for the final conference game of the season. The men appear to have a strangle hold on the three seed in the playoffs, with a chance to capture the #2 seed. The game will be played at Aviator Field with a 6pm start time.
