Women's Tennis Drops Final Regular Season Tilt, 6-3 to Kean

Union, N.J.--- The Brooklyn College Women's Tennis Team closed out their 2015 regular season on Monday evening with a 6-3 defeat at Kean. The Bulldogs fell to 2-10 while Kean improved to 8-3.
 
Ievgeniia Kostenko and Suraya Maenhout played strong tennis, as the duo not only picked up a win in doubles competition, but in singles play as well. The combination defeated first doubles partners Brianna Martin and Naylah Hinton of Kean University, 8-1.
 
Ievgeniia Kostenko and Suraya Maenhout each went on to defeat Kean in first and second singles. Kostenko's performance led her to 6-3 and 6-1 sets, and Maenhout's determination advanced her to 6-1, 6-3 sets against Kean's Brianna Martin.

The Bulldogs will head up to Lehman on Friday where they will take on the Lightning in the CUNYAC Quarterfinals.  The Lightning are the #4 seed, while Brooklyn is the #5 seed.  The winner will face Baruch on Saturday at the College of Staten Island.
