Women's Volleyball Drops Three-Setter to Maritime

Box Score Bronx, NY---The Brooklyn College Bulldogs traveled to Throggs Neck on Wednesday to take on the Privateers of Martitime College, and fell for the second consecutive evening, 25-17, 25-15, 25-21.  Brooklyn falls to 6-16 on the year after the non-conference loss. Maritime improved to 14-11, as they also honored their seniors in the team's "senior night".

"Anytime you go into an opponent's gym for senior night, they are going to be amped up, said head coach Andy Mueller. "Tonight we played in a tough environment against a young and hungry team. We were not able to get into a rhythm offensively and every time we gained a little momentum in the match, Maritime answered."

On a bright note for the Bulldogs, Brianna Montana posted a team-high 10 kills, and freshman Kennedy Hye had a team-high with 10 digs.

Brooklyn will get some home cooking on Saturday as they host Bard at 1 pm in another non-conference match.
