Box Score Brooklyn, NY --- The Brooklyn College Men's Soccer had another great performance Tuesday evening as they defeated the Purchase College Panthers, 3-0. Not only was it their second win in a row, but it also improves their record to and even .500 at 5-5-1, while the Panthers drop to 3-9.
Valentyn Kharko stood out for the Bulldogs, as he tallied two goals past the Panthers' keeper, Uriel Milechberg.
Kenny Benitez shut out the Panthers offense, totaling 8 saves for Brooklyn.
The two-goal lead wasn't enough for senior defenseman and captain,
Kevin Bresnan, who scored his first goal of the season, with the assist from
Christopher North late in the second half.
The Bulldogs will look to continue their win streak and hot play headed into the second half of the season and eventual CUNYAC Championship Tournament. Brooklyn College will face their rival, the Bearcats of Baruch College at 12 PM this Saturday October 10 on the Brooklyn College pitch.Â
