Box Score Brooklyn, NY --- On Monday evening the Brooklyn college Women's soccer team hosted New York University for a 6pm contest. The Violets emerged victorious with a 3-0 shutout. With the win, NYU improves their record to 9-1 overall, while the bulldogs are now 3-6-1 on the season.

Royce Light opened the scoring for NYU with a header off a corner kick to beat the keeper far post at the 22:42 mark in the first half. The Violets dominated possession for much of the game and were able to keep pressure on the BC defense. Maddy Clappin registered the second goal for the Violets with an overlapping run and shot into the near post at the 25:00 mark to cap the first half scoring.
In the second half Mckennah Spagnola scored NYU's final goal for the game with twenty four minutes remaining. The Bulldogs sophomore goalkeeper
Rebecca Harmata registered seven saves for the game.

The next contest for the Bulldogs is scheduled for Thursday October 8th against Fairleigh Dickinson University (Florham) at Madison, NJ. The game will commence at 7pm.     Â
