Box Score Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College Women's Volleyball squad earned their second consecutive home victory, both of which came against non-conference opponents. Wednesday's match saw defeating Purchase, an easier victory than the Bulldogs' prior home win which took a five sets to defeat Centenary, as it only took three sets to knock off the Panthers, 25-15, 25-16, 25-8. The win improved Brooklyn's overall record to 6-12, while the Panthers fell to 0-13 on the year.
Christolia Buter had a match-high 11 kills to accompany six blocks, while
Sasha Roopchand added nine of her own to go along with nine digs and six aces.
Crystal Wu had match-highs of eight aces and 24 assists.
Brooklyn will have a big day on Monday, October 12th, as the team will host the CUNYAC Multi-match, in which every conference school will compete here at the West Quad Center. Brooklyn will host CCNY and John Jay in matches at 3 and 5 pm.
